CLEVELAND – One lucky player in Ohio is holding a jackpot-winning Mega Millions ticket worth $112,000,000 after the Friday, April 18, 2025, drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at Giant Eagle, located at 4401 Mayfield Rd. in South Euclid. The winning numbers were 5-13-15-17-28, and the Mega Ball was 1.
The lucky winner chose their own numbers, matching all five numbers plus the Mega Ball to win the jackpot. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 290,472,336.
The winner has 180 days to claim the prize. They can choose the annuity prize paid over 30 years or take the cash option of $49.3 million.
This is the first jackpot-winning ticket sold since the new Mega Millions game launched on April 5.
The new Mega Millions game offers BIGGER jackpots, BETTER odds, and a BUILT-IN MULTIPLIER with every ticket. Jackpots start at $50 million, and every wager comes with a built-in multiplier automatically improving every non-jackpot win by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X. Additionally, the game has no breakeven prizes; all winning tickets total $10 or more. Tickets cost $5 per wager.
Since joining Mega Millions, Ohio has had 21 jackpot winners and 65 second-tier winners of $1 million or more.
Mega Millions is a national game sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings are conducted at 11 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesdays and Fridays in Atlanta, Georgia.
