TALLAHASSEE - Today, the Florida Lottery (Lottery) is excited to announce that last night's $36 million [advertised value] jackpot-winning Mega Millions® ticket was sold in Florida! This jackpot win comes just one week after the record-breaking $1.6 billion Mega Millions jackpot win on August 8.

Last night’s $36 million [advertised value] jackpot-winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at Publix, located at 4495 Roosevelt Boulevard in Jacksonville. The winning numbers for the August 15, 2023, drawing were: 18 - 39 - 42 - 57 - 63 and the Mega Ball was 7. The retailer will receive a $25,000 bonus commission for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

Florida Mega Millions jackpot winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. However, to elect the one-time, lump-sum cash payment option, the claim must be filed within 60 days after the winning draw date. The jackpot prize winner has the option of receiving their winnings in 30 annual installments or as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $17.4 million [advertised value]
